Elliott takes Title

Ken put the disapointment of recent championship mishaps behind him to lift the Topcon Formula Vee Festival title at Mondello Park on June 19th. Having been robbed of certain victory at Donington and had the 2 home races at Mondello spoiled by a misfire the Clondalkin driver was in explosive form for the festiva. He qualified on pole for his semi-final and won easily despite having his early leaq negated by the safety car.
He started the final from 3rd on the grid and produced a savage start to tear past the front row and into the lead by the first carner. Despite being pushed hard he easily held off the challengers to take the title for Leastone Racing.
